5. Service Providers

RateClock uses trusted service providers to operate the app, website, accounts, syncing, purchases, support, and security. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to RateClock.

Examples include:

  • Cloud database and authentication providers, used for accounts, storage, and sync.
  • App Store and purchase-entitlement providers, including Apple and RevenueCat, used for purchases, subscriptions, Pro status, and restoring purchases.
  • Transactional email providers, used for account, authentication, and support-related messages.
  • Hosting, CDN, security, and logging providers, used to operate and protect the RateClock website and services.

RateClock does not authorize these providers to use RateClock app data for their own advertising, AI training, or unrelated purposes.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

RateClock shares information only with service providers as needed to operate the app, process purchases, provide support, maintain security, or comply with law.

7. Data Retention

RateClock keeps account and app data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Deleted account data is removed from RateClock-controlled systems subject to backups, logs, security records, legal obligations, and operational limitations. Apple purchase and subscription records are controlled by Apple.

8. Account Deletion and Data Requests

Start account deletion in RateClock when you can. If you cannot access the app, use the RateClock support form so the request includes enough context to verify the account. Deleting your RateClock account does not automatically cancel Apple subscriptions; subscriptions must be managed through Apple.

9. Security

RateClock uses authenticated access, user-specific access controls where applicable, encryption in transit where applicable, limited operational access, and ongoing efforts to protect account and app data. No online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

10. Children’s Privacy

RateClock is a general productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to RateClock, please use the RateClock support form so we can review the request and take appropriate action.

Your information may be processed in the United States or other regions where RateClock or its service providers operate.

12. California and Other Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about your data. RateClock does not sell personal information.
